Blekingska nation - What´s it all about?

Blekingska nation was founded in 1697 and has since the 1960s been housed in our current buildings at Måsvägen - a mere minute walk away from Vildanden. Perfect for the students living at Vildanden, who wants a cold pint Wednesday night or a brunch buffet Saturday noon. Since 1994, we´ve been putting Vildanden on the map with our famous live scene Indigo, Lund´s most famous indie & pop club. As a member of Blekingska, you are always entitled to a lower entrance. Another good thing about Blekingska is that although we are one of the smaller nations in Lund, we can always provide you with the same activities as the bigger nations. And, of course, in a smaller nation it is always easier to get to know people. With our almost daily activites, Blekingska nation is the obvious choice for the student living on he west side of Lund, and of course for everybody else as well.

Our Clubs (Fridays 22-02)

Music is close to the Blekingska heart. Our three nightclubs focuses on different genres of music, and are on a rolling schedule with every club appearing every third week. Always check the website for information about wich club is coming up. Blekingska has always been famous for our live music scene. We frequently host live acts with both established bands and up and coming bands, both Swedish and international bands. Some of the famous bands that have played at Blekingska in the past are the Cardigans, the Hives, Alphaville and the Hidden Cameras. Recent acts have been Alice in Videoland, Andreas Tilliander, the Radio Dept. and JJ.

Indigo

At Indigo, wich we have been hosting since 1994, we bring the best of indie & pop music. Enjoy a great night out at the legendary club that in all effect made indie pop big in southern Sweden!

Heartbeats

Euphoric electro and electronica, fast-paced lightshow with laser and strobes, with a smoke-filled dancefloor can only mean one thing: it´s Heartbeats at Blekingska. Every third friday we bring you the best electro Djs Skåne has to offer. Get on your dancing shoes and dance until you drop!

Resonans

Resonans is our brand new rock club. Do you fancy somewhat heavier guitar riffs? Resonans is the place for you. Everything from the Strokes, to Yeah Yeah Yeahs and the Distillers to more classic rock and even hardcore will be on the playlist! We also promise to bring you great rock live acts during the semester.
