New in Lund? 
When arriving to Lund as a new student, there might be a bunch of decisions that you might to take. Where can i live? How can i find new friends? Where can i work out? What can i eat today? And most important of all: Where's the nices night clubs with the absolute best music? Blekingska will give you the answer.

What's a student nation?
The student nations was originally a place where students from the same home county, and that's why they're named after landscapes, city och reigion. Today you can join any nation you like! At the nation the focus is to let you enjoy your student life when you need a break from your studies. At nations you can find night clubs, pubs, cafés, bals and plenty of culture and sparetime activities. The nations are managed almost entirely by students doing volounteer work.

Blekingska Nation
A bike ride 5 minutes from the railway station you find Blekingska. Blekingska is one of the smallest nations in Lund which is a benefit for you as student when you want to get to know people.

Blekingska loves music
Every friday it's club at Blekingska! We got two clubs - Indigo, our indie and pop club and Heartbeats - here we mostly play electronic music. Since 1994 Blekingska has managed to have one of the most interesting music scenes in the south of Sweden, we've had band like Shout Out Louds, The Sounds, The Cardigans, Alphaville, Silvana Imam, Discoteka Yugostyle, JJ and more. As a member of Blekingska nation you'll always get reducered price to our clubs and conserts!

A week at Blekingska can look like this:
Tuesday: Café Bake My Day. The choir's also practicing with Wermlands and Kalmar nation.
Wednesday: Pub with our famuos Quiz och Camp zonic. 
Thursday: Floorball or fotball.
Friday: Sonjas beer café, sittning and a night club
Sunday: Brunch - Sunday i'm in love. 

How can I become a member of Blekingska?
At the 12th of january you can go to our nation house at Måsvägen 11 and become a member of Blekingska! But first you need to registrate at Studentlund, just click this link www.studentlund.se and follow the steps. There after you bring your admission letter and ID to us and we'll help your through the rest! It takes five minutes and when we're done the student life is at your feets!

Get active at Blekingska!
The best memories from your student life are the ones you make when you're active at a nation - and there's so many different things that you can work with! We've all been new, and no previous work experience is needed - we hope you're into learning new things! These things can be anything between shake coctails, cook, write articles or speek for us through our radio channel! Besides new friends and fond memories, you will get new experiences and skills which will look good on a future resumé. As a thank you for helping out you'll get invited to thank-you-parties which involves a three course-meal and free entrance to club afterwards.

Housing
As a worker at Blekingska you will get prioritized in the waiting list for accomodations. We've got about one hundred housing options, which consists of corridor rooms with a shared kitchen, pentry rooms, and apartments.
